Archers
Archers Schnapps is a premium, international contemporary peach schnapps, which was developed by Mr G W Archer – a prize winning peach grower. Archer experimented with home grown peaches in his own still until the recipe was perfected. Archers Schnapps was then launched in 1986, and is packaged in an elegant white frosted bottle.
Baileys
Baileys was founded in Ireland in 1974, and is still produced there today by Diageo.
Over 1,500 farms in County Wicklow Ireland produce the milk used in Baileys – which is then blended with the finest Irish whiskey no more than 36 hours after the cows are milked.
Baileys has no preservatives, as the whiskey natually preserves when blended with the fresh cream. A unique combination of coca nibs and vanilla pods, caramel and sugar are then mixed with the whiskey and cream to get the authentic Baileys taste.
Campari
The Campari empire began with the genius of Gaspare Campari, who was born in 1828 in Castelnuovo Italy. At 14 Gaspare became master drink maker at the Bass Bar in Turin, which was the major commercial centre for aperitif products. Gaspare developed the Campari recipe, which has over 60 natural ingredients. In 1862 Gaspare opened up Café Campari in front of Milan’s historic cathedral. Gaspare’s younger son Davide worked at the Café for 33 years and was the genius behind making Campari world famous.
Francoli Grappa
Founded in Ghemme, Piemonte (Northern Italy) in 1951 by Luigi Francoli, the Francoli Distillery has a rich history of grappa production. The Francoli Family has been running the Distillery for over five generations, producing and distributing their grappa (through the historical brand of Luigi Francoli), liqueurs, spirits, and fruit syrups.
Opel Nera
Opal Nera began as a secret family recipe, invented by Alessandra Francoli on his honeymoon. This original black sambuca was then first produced by the Francoli Distillery in 1989 and since launch its success has spread to over 30 countries around the world. In many markets not only is Opal Nera the number one selling black sambuca, but the number one sambuca as well.
Opal Nera is derived from a delicate blend of the skins of a rare variety of lemon, elderflowers and elderberries, which combine to provide the unique liquorice taste.
The success of the original Opal Nera lead to the creation of a sister brand, Opal Bianca – a more traditional sambuca in terms of colour and flavour, which shares Nera’s exceptionally smooth delivery and finish.
Pimms
Pimm’s No. 1 Cup is a gin-based beverage that can be served both on ice and in cocktails. The secret recipe of Pimm’s No. 1 Cup produces a dark tea colour with a reddish tint, and tastes subtly of spice and citrus fruit.
VOK
